Frequently asked questions
Is Ryxx free to use?
Yes. Ryxx is free to download and use. A daily message allowance is included. Premium subscribers get more messages, additional voice calls, and expanded memory.
Are the characters AI?
Yes. Every character in Ryxx is powered by large language models, with their own persistent memory and voice. They're designed to feel like someone, not something.
Who can see my conversations?
Nobody. Your conversations are private to your account. We do not train models on your personal conversations.
Can I create my own character?
Yes. Ryxx lets you build and share your own characters — with a custom personality, backstory, and voice. Created characters can be kept private or submitted for official approval.
What is Our Story?
Our Story tracks the depth of your bond with each character through 20 relationship stages. Each stage unlocks exclusive rewards and AI-generated content personal to your relationship.
How do voice calls work?
Characters can call you — you'll receive a notification and pick up to hear their voice. You can also call any of your characters directly from the app.
